Notice For Visit Reservation Through Telephone

  1. Purpose

    In order to minimize waiting time for visit registration and visit queue of inmates’ relatives we strive to achieve these goals: “A minute saved waiting is a trip saved coming” and “On-site waiting is elevated by making prior reservations”. For visitor’s convenience, the prison has available telephone reservation services.

  2. Application Procedure

    1. Reservation Hours

      1. Monday through Friday (no application accepted on holidays). 9:00 to 11:00 in the morning and 14:00 to 16:00 in the afternoon.

      2. Please complete reservation one-week prior to date of visit.

    2. Applicant and Number of Visit

      1. Limited to inmate’s closest relative who has applied for general visit from the Prison and such application has been approved.

      2. Number of visits is regulated by “Statute of Progressive Execution of Penalty”.

    4. Quota for Telephone Reservation

      Every visit session is limited to 3 reservations (not accepted on holidays & Chinese New Year).

  3. Notice for Visit Reservation through Telephone

    1. This service does not applicable to inmates on violation review or summoned by prosecutor or court appearing and may not receive visitor.

    2. If visit is not yet made after completion of reservation, then second reservation will not be accepted.

    3. Visitors who have completed reservation should report to the Prison on the date of visit and 10 minutes prior to visit time with identification papers (ID Card, driver’s license; foreigners should present original copy of Alien Resident Certificate or passport for check-in and registration procedures.

    4. If relatives who have completed reservation are not able to come to the Prison on reserved date and time, please cancel such reservations through the Reservation Phone Line before 16:00 on the previous day. Those who fail to make cancellation more than twice in half a year will be rejected for visit reservation in the next six months starting from the date of latest reservation made.

    5. Telephone Reservation does not apply to holidays and Lunar New Year’s.

    6. Inmate’s relatives should be honest when disclosing their identity while making reservation. If any forgery (giving false information) is found, then such persons will be permanently disqualified for using this service.

    7. This Notice will be implemented after being approved in the Prison Affair’s Meeting; any amendments will follow the same process.
