Hasten home for relative in life-threatening state＆Hasten home for funeral

  • Hasten home for relative in life-threatening state(critical illness)：
    When grandparents, parents, spouse, or children of the inmate/defendant is in life-threatening state. An applicant may bring his/her ID card, stamp and proof documents to the institution (inmate/defendant was held) to submit an application for hastening home supervised by security guards. After got approval by Ministry of Justice, prosecutor or court, the institution will arrange home. Related matters are as follows：
    1. Prepare certificate of diagnosis and notification of critical illness issued by a hospital.(within 3 days)
    2.  Prepare identify documents which can prove the relationship between the people (in life-threatening state) and inmate/defendant (like Household Register or Household Certificate).
    3. You must have two guarantors (include the applicant) and everyone should bring ID card and stamp.
    4. Fill out the following application forms：Inmate/defendant hasten home for relative in life-threatening state application form (Attachment 1)and Affidavit Form (Attachment 3).
  • Hastening home for funeral：
    When grandfather, grandmother, parents, spouse or children of an inmate/defendant passed away. An applicant may bring his/her ID card, stamp and proof documents to the institution (inmate/defendant was held) to submit an application for hastening home supervised by security guards for funeral. After the institution, prosecutor or court approved your application, the institution will arrange home. Related matters are as follows：
    1. Prepare certificate of death issued by hospital and obituary.
    2. Prepare identify documents which can prove the relationship between the dead and inmate/defendant (like Household Register or Household Certificate).
    3. You must have two guarantors (include the applicant) and everyone should bring ID card and stamp.
    4. Fill out the following application forms：Inmate/defendant hasten home for relative’s funeral application form (Attachment 2) and Affidavit Form (Attachment 3).
    5. Please submit an application to the institution 5 days before funeral.
